The thing about cheesiness to me is just that with some tunes, only one simple little riff in a track can put me off.

The main tune for PPK, or Picotto's Komodo just irritate and annoy me. I cant explain why, but I think its something to do with the fact that I could very easily see those tunes (the tunes, not the whole tracks) used in a kiddies program, ala 'Barney'.

Hmmf.

I guess I'm just weird like that.

Just because a track is overplayed it doesn't make it cheese, that's not the meaning of the word and a lot of people seem to think like that.

I disagree, cheese is a style. You dont have to sell 1 billion records to be cheesy, some people who've never sold a record make the cheesiest music, hence why they never sold a record...

I did manage to remember a trance group I consider cheese, the name of the group was Lightforce and with the exception of Join Us, everything else they did was cheese.

I agree, Silence is far from cheese. Radioplay doesn't equate to cheesiness.
