There are some great concepts on the album, some of which I find absolutely brilliant. However, I'll draw a comparison between The Field and Eric Prydz in that there are definitely great concepts in the tracks, but they lack any progression and real change in them and are more repetitive than anything.
I caught The Field live in July, and while he looks exactly like Mr. Rooney from Ferris Bueller his liveset didn't do much. It felt like he was just pressing play on one track as soon as the other ended. Some great edits in his set, though.
