I really don't think it's so bad. I mean as a life goal, yeah it's aiming kinda low. But if the goal is just to gain experience in customer service then I think it's great.

Customer service translates to so many other jobs. Two very important things you learn are team work and communication skills. You can take that knowledge to just about any job.

I'm very grateful for all the retail experience I have. Surprisingly, they look for this in the nursing field. Actually no, it isn't that surprising at all.

ya my first job was a at a restaurant... perhaps the worst shit ever.

when they moved me to the bar, it was better, but it was still a fucking restaurant ..... i would much rather work in retail than in a restaurant ever again
