edit: no it's not OSX. It's Windows XP Media centre edition. And yes, I have myself on MSN. It helps me monitor connectivity problems and weirdness.

i have XP and OSX installed on my Macbook with virtue desktops, it alows motion sensor swtching of up to 3 desktops, i tap the side of my macbook, and switch between OSX and XP...

soooo, congrats? ive had this for the past year already, ubuntu doesnt impress me, its exactly what i have.

Just the built in Visual Styles. You need to hack it a little to be able to use third-party themes.

Also, regarding ubuntu:

My Dad is a Linux nut (trust me... he invented the first web app to do streaming video... he knows his shit) and has tried to convert me on numerous occasions. And believe me, I took my crack at Linux.

The problem I found was I was too accustomed to Windows. I have spent so many years with Windows that I know how to keep it working smoothly and be able to do whatever I want it (see my desktop screenie). Also, too many programs I run depend on run on Windows (Torq, for one).

That Youtube vid wouldn't be as impressive if they showed the installation and configuration process of running those 3d desktop apps.
