Actually, now that I think about it all of the people I mentioned with the exception of Zappa were divorced at least once. The longevity of their marriages though is inmaterial, the point is, they were just as good while married as they were when single.

In 1995, he married actress Pamela Anderson. They have two children, Brandon Thomas, born June 5, 1996, and Dylan Jagger, born December 29, 1997. It was with Anderson that one of Lee's most famous incidents arose when one of their private videos was stolen in 1995. The couple had videotaped their sexual activities while on vacation. The tape was widely circulated, and was one of the first examples of nude celebrities on the Internet. The couple divorced in 1998, and he served four months in prison after pleading no contest to kicking Anderson in the crotch.

I think this guy summed up what I meant pretty well:

just wondering, but did Paul McCartney ever write a song about Heather Mills?

quote:
On 21 January 2007, the press announced a settlement between the two, mentioning that McCartney would pay £32 million in cash and property to his ex-wife.[17] The deal appears to incorporate a gagging order. Marilyn Stowe, a leading UK divorce lawyer writing in The Times called it "one of the most high-profile marriage breakdowns in history".[18]

selfish pussy couch.

perhaps a cover of a certain Elton John song?

This thread reminds me of a professor of mine, who used to be a poet, and published a book quite a few years ago. Asked why he hasn't published anything else after that, he said: I was young back then. I was inspired and in love. Now I'm married, which means that I'm... well, married

your professor is a shitty artist, if only new romantic human interactions can inspire him.

most poets who publish things do suck though, so he can be forgiven. It is not uncommon for poets to stop working once they achieve their goal, which was to get some girls attention.

a poet once wrote, that most all of his fellow poets were nothing more than dilettantes.

using classical musicians isnt that great of an example...married life would have been much different back then and could have had a much stronger influence.

single life would have been different too.
