yeah JL make very good speakers. Get knifed if you think otherwise

jl are not a brand that are respected in the professional audio market.

i am unsure the exact figure of how much the speaker i gave as an example of a proper sub woofer is, but if i remember rightly i think it was about £1800

Perhaps because the vast majority of their products pertain to the car audio market, which in general does not intersect with the professional audio market. Not that I'm condoning this $11,000 joke, but their high end car audio products are very good quality.

JL makes some decent subwoofers for car audio but really if you're heavy into car audio you don't use JL.
