He gets a ton of support in this city, in my opinion. Although I can't compare it to other dj's because I've only lived in the Philly area. I did hear something about Richie Hawtin being banned from Detroit or a club in Detroit. Is this true?
And yes, Fluid is great! Me and another friend of mine got to play there once and it's definitely one of my favorite booths in the city. And being in the crowd is just as good. Sound in there is great and I love the atmosphere. I'm all about small and dark lounges/clubs.

His monthly Wink Wed. don't do all that well...but 95% of the city is dead during the week anyway. When he brings in guys like Loco or Cox it is packed but most nights the place in 1/2 full and for this city on a weeknight that is a win.
As for weekends when he plays like the outdoor party at Bubble House last month or at Shampoo for a big event he gets the love.
In the summer of 2006 Josh played a day party at the Bubble House. I had been up all night in NYC bouncing around...we came back to see Josh that day. He has yet to give me my soul back after that day...and I am ok with that.

LocoDice was amazing at Fluid when I saw him like 2 years ago... gotta love the drink specials there
