yea i know countrywide is being taken over...but like i said, i dont know of a servicing division that bank of america has as far as their mortgage loans are concerned..hell, they might pay us to service them here in a little bit! guess ill just have to wait and see...where is countrywide located though?

going to work for countrywide right now is like going to work on the Titanic, just cause it pays well.

now that department may just survive the 20% or 12,000 employee lay off that has already begun as well as the inevitable acquisition by bank of america. so if you really need a job and you go through the interview process and get offered it and this is the highest paying offer you get, then fuck it, take it but just know now is an extremely volatile time to work for countrywide.

thanks man...i actually spoke with a woman today who works for countrywide in tx...she told me there are like 70,000 employees working for them right now..thats way too many...Regions services an assload of loans and our servicing department isnt near that big

so it makes sense they might be going down the tubes

Don't move to Simi Valley! Unless you want to be 40 minutes from the city and live in the middle of nowhere!

Although on that salary it will be hard for you to live near the city and still be able to eat.
