they have a server too with a lot of nice map rotations and friendly fire on with tk scripts. Very cool server should check it out, ther are stats too.

At first i didn't like 1.4 so much but i think it just takes some time getting use to. We all played 1.3 so long we got use to it...

i think i've gotten the hang of it, i've had a few decent rounds (30-5) (25-3) etc but I still don't like the overall change in gameplay from 1.3. 1.3 held that delicate balance between realism and fun, 1.4 went too far to the realism side. it's too easy for newbs to get head shots these days, and the jumping thing is pure ass, they should've made it 2 or 3 like someone said, or just left it and altered shooting accuracy while jumping (i've played guys who have headshotted me with one shot from a deagle while jumping from a tall structure, so annoying). the radar and viewing changes have been amazing but they shouldn't have altered the gameplay so drastically.

i've read that some servers might go back to playing 1.3 , and that a big tournament coming up is having a poll between 1.3 and 1.4 and the winner is what will be used at their event, so far 1.3 is winning with 70% of the votes.

word.. i mean, if the game is not FUN anymore, i won't play it..

and CS is getting too realistical to be fun.. the problem is though, that too many people take cs too serious!

well i saw this thread quite late but here's my opinion..
i liked 1.3 very much, and i still like 1.4... i never bunnyhopt and the recoil stuff wel it;s just getting used to it! only thing i thought wasn't nice was planting the bomb bit.. now you can't jump of a rigde while planting the bomb.. which was quite nice! (pssstt.. you still can in de_dust2! )..
