I haven't gone as far as you have buying over 2k worth of vinyl but I really don't think like this is all for a waste. This is more like a physiological necessity. You need it to feel like you aren’t just breathing and waiting to die. If you don’t spin some everyday you will get more and more disturbed and upset till the point when you will kill the mailman for asking for your signature. Like, as soon as I get my decks I know I would have assigned a lot of money on them and because of them I don’t get to spend on other important stuff (thank god I don’t have a girlfriend), but other than my day job this really is a necessity just like eating, exercising, sleeping…

Then again I've spent about $350 on vinyl and I don't even have decks.....yet.

I'm going to pay almost $100 for ONE record.

and i've probably spent about $200 already on other records.

and i don't have decks yet either.

I have about 2500 vinyls at say an average price of £5.00. 2500 x 5 = £12,500
