Thanks to all that made it out last night to Connect! The night after Halloween is always a tough sell, though the turnout I think was quite nice. DJ Slink & Friends def held down the upstairs all night, with a early set provided by Jay V (thanks for the last minute help). Think there was a bit of Knoxville reunion taking place. Slink & Random Beat layed down with some proper cut up funk & soul with Maddclout holding down the floor most of the night. Thanks to Sean & Maddclout for bringing the B-Boy flava once again. Look out for a 4Deep/Maddclout collabo very soon!!!

It was great to have Mr. Synclair back on the decks as its been way too long. Synclair and Val set up the night fluidly with a blend of deep tracks and percussive flavors.

Jay wanted to get on right at midnight so off course we obliged. All I can really say about Jay is that he's truly mastered the art. His mixing was flawless and track selection felt just right for Lava on a Thursday. Overall I think he got just a glimpse of what Atlanta has to offer though the Fat Matt's & R. Thomas visits probably sealed the deal.
