Which would you say is best for FPS games?

In this situation, it really just comes down to which controller do you prefer. Its basically a comparison between having your thumbs side by side (dual shock PS3) or having your left thumb higher than your right (360). With all the Halo playing Ive done in the past, I've become more accustomed to the 360 controller for FPS games...
But, rumors are saying that the PS3 version may be the only console version of the game that can work with the map editor. Due to Live being a closed system run strictly by Microsoft (vs. the PSN where Sony leaves it as an open platform), the 360 version may not get custom content. Pros and cons to both sides of the equation, but I do think the 360 controller is best for FPS games. Ill throw in, however, that the dual shock is my preference for any other genre.

thanks dude for the link can't for this to come out
doesn't one console have official support for Keyboard+Mouse?
and I like the game so far. I'm going to have to look up console commands for network though.

I think the PS3 has usb ports so you can hook up a mouse and keyboard. Not sure about the Xbox, but that would be ideal if you don't have a PC.

It's a beta, so remember it's bound to have bugs.

i ran it yesterday i have the minimum requirements i.e the viedo card, takes ages to load into the game ie the splash screen, played it for bit but then it frozze up, so can't wait to play the full game.
It's very playable on my system with an Intel QX6700 running at the default speed of 2.66 ghz (i'll probably bump it up to 2.93 ghz when I get the full version) with a GeForce 8800 Ultra. I run it fine at 1600 x 1200 with 8x Anistrophic Filtering and 16x Anti-Aliasing. Probably like 60 - 80 fps. It does drag slightly at 1920 x 120 (it might bring it down to around 50fps), but if I bring down the AA and AF it will probably run quite well at that resolution. I boosted the details to 5 as well.
So far, so good...It will probably run at 100 fps if I brought down alot of the graphical features like details and lowered the resolution even more, but around 60fps is fine with me. I play most games at 1600 x 1200 anyways. Though the older games look better at that resolution IMO. These newer ones are just screaming for super high resolutions (probably ones my monitor can't even handle, the highest it goes is 1920 x 1200).
