You assume too much about what I have or haven't seen and experienced if you think that .

that "omg tasers can be dangerous!" isn't really the greatest expose ive ever seen everyone knows they're dangerous. |
Which is why you don't use them on non-violent students or protestors for tyring to ask a question, make a point, engage in discourse, or for simply voicing their dissent.

i know its a horrible concept for some people, but how about following the instructions of the officer(s) (as we are bound to do by law) |
I'm not against coercion or even using lethal force when necessary, which implies it requires justification validated by a clear demonstration of no other practical alternative.

and the chances of you getting tasered arent that high. i know you criticise (for instance) the bush administration's disregard for the law and legal frameworks, why should citizens be exempt from being forced to follow the law as well? |
Well, a bit of a double standard there don't you think? If the leaders, politicians, and "authority" figures are clearly violating and breaking the laws they're supposed uphold and/or enforce, why should citizens be held to a different standard? Why are 'they' expempt from the same coersive action? Anyways, I was just pointing out a clear contradiction there (in a somewhat general way).
Apparently everyone seemed to miss the point here, it wasn't the guy or the article, but the fact that tasers aren't exactly harmless and easily have the potential to cause serious injury or death. And these are the same fucking weapons most of you seem to be completely apathetic about being used on non-violent citizens, to the point where many of not only seem confortable with it, but rationalize and even attempt to justify it.
So... judging from the responses, looks like nobody got it to begin with, which makes me question if any of you will even after this post...
