Are u absolutely sure that its 72 hrs? The longest set in the GUiness book of records was set really recently and it was something like 49 hours. Mixmag did an article on it, if i find it I'll post up more details.

Just think of listening to it and then wanting a buddy to hear a special part, i think its hard enough to find my way in a set with winamp without a cue, sets which are normally 2-3 hours.. 72hrs!

I guess all he could hear after thoose 72hrs was "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep"...

He didnt sleep
And he constantly mixed flawlessly.
And broke the Guiness Record.
Anyway, he said that in the last 16 hours he forgot what to do with his Technics and didnt know what they are there for
LOL
After 60 hours without sleep I imagine we would all get a little crazy.
He played 580 tracks.

yes this person did do a very long set. he did do the worlds longest dj set if i remember correct but it wasn't 72 hrs it was 48 hrs i think.

nah, you give it a try to be awake for 72 hours, and if you made it. Then Iamge to be mixing for 72 hours.

it was a set for 3 days = 72 hours, but i don´t find the homepage now. It was quite boring, because he had to play every Vinyl only one time and most time he played boring house...

I think there was also a release at mp3s, must be 2 gbs or so...

There was an article about this in mixer magazine, it said that he played 72 hours to beat the previous 49 hour record. This local store but him built a dance floor just so he could attempt the record.

Yep, I'm absolutely sure. He beat this record and got in Guiness book with this set. He played this for 3 days , and he only make 15 pauses every 8 hours - that's Guiness book allowance...
