I think he has been to LA before. I've seen his name on some flyer for an event at Alexandria Hotel a year or so back. Does anyone know if he's doing a live set or just mixing. His live sets are kind of wack and sound the same at the same time I do love his DJ sets.
Here is him Live at Moscow, one of the best sets from him I have seen

Well skazis music does lack depth in its production thats for sure. The beats are the same, the songs pretty much use the same system. But Skazi is a master at pulling off a live show. Asher is out of his mind. And yea, the crowd is different to an extent. Still will be israelis and latinos for the most part because thats this groups focus target, but the target is those of a heavier tone. I love this stuff live because you can still dance to the simple beat but rock harder than most rock bands - at a dance club. IM is more of a musical focus, this is more of a TIME DO GO APE SHIT!!! Dont miss this event. |
EDM is repetitive at its nature, psytrance itself is prob the best example of this. How Skazi music diff from that of IM and Astrix and the like the way I see it is Skazi's being more, much more dark and brutal, to the point it appears to be the same and boring to quite a few people. It's just pretty much about the taste. If Astral Projection is your fav, then very likely you hate Skazi to the death, no doubt. Another example is like this, not all metalhead out there enjoy black metal or brutal death metal or extreme metal for what is worth. But that says nothing about the music. It's just the taste, and whether or not you have the right mentality to enjoy that kind of art. You're right on about the Skazi's crowd. And for sure, don't miss this event \m/
