He is very good at what he does, but listening to him always gives you the sensation that he's trying too hard to emulate a scene, style or idea without actually understanding it, like the lone white guy in an all-black gangbang pretending he measures up.

I've always felt the same way about BT. Could never really get into his stuff even though it is very well done.

Attitude Problem

You've got a serious attitude problem, i've been posting on these forums since the day they went on-line. Who are you to tell me that i can't post on a forum? Get over yourself. Maybe you should post on a few more forums to get a few extra MySpace views/plays while you're at it. DJ Delusional, how appropriate.

Well, unless it's Daft Punk, The KLF, and italo disco.

I agree completely.

I don't find BT's music particularly interesting or inspiring at all, and besides,BT prety much is the biggest tosser going around in the dance scene, along with Sasha. Oh, and Tenaglia and Morillo too.

BT, I would consider him, originally, electronic, organic trance...but now he is more "electronic experimental" - but still organic, it's "This Binary Universe" is definately not to be pigeonholed as trance, it's really just a great experiment in bleeding edge electronic, trying a bunch of new sounding things.

This Binary Universe was absolutely amazing. Truly his Magnum Opus at this point...I definately respect BT and his level of Production, he is a master at what he does and really pushes the limit. How can ishkur bash his creativity when he spends ages writing instruments in csound, programming in max/msp and pureData and literally creating music from code.

A lot of hard work doesn't equate to interesting music. It just makes it well put together with high production quality. He said he respects him for that. Did you read the article?
