I use these when I play,

As long as you can mix in the headphones, they cut out all ambient noise when they are in.

I keep the volume really low and can hear everything perfectly.

They work great and I hear perfectly after I'm done.

thank you guys... these all are helpful stuff i need to know... and yea DJ BOB... i saw u use those headphones when u opened for astrix last april!... first i was like.. what the??? this dude not using headphones to mix what a champ!!! ~~~~ but u're still a champ Bob!!!
