no, i mean over 3 months old. if a thread is 4 months old or more, it should be locked. Therefore this thread is way aged and has been dead forever ago. Now if it's an ongoing picture thread that is constantly being updated and active - that's different.

The reason is because people open the thread and they read the first couple of posts, thinking it's a current post. -- "what? there's a halloween costume contest at MINC?! Awesome! I'll be there." When really, this post is about a new Halloween event that is NOT at MINC. People actually have to scroll and even go to page 2 before they see there is another Halloween party being mentioned in this thread. New event, new thread. I write the rules, dammit.
