SVD is not housey! as i watched him being interviewed on bpm tv, he describes his sound as a blending mix of trance, house and tribal. Then again i've heard more people say sander's music is hard trance because of the massive amount of bass he uses.
oh and btw,, has anyone noticed bpm tv being taken off cable/satelite,, i used to have it and loved watching it everyday!

Just because a DJ/Producer is a Trance DJ, doesn't mean they only spin/produce Trance tracks...
You even said in your post

How can you say that SvD is not Housey when you even have him saying that he has house elements in his sound??

the subject "trance at zone" is totally misleading. (though I'm sure its what is keeping this thread alive, lol)
So he played 1 tune that is borderline trance. That isn't THAT uncommon at zona. I could argue that Dekoze playing Faxing Berlin on Sunday (not that I was there or anything, la la la) is more trance than anything else. I've also heard Dekoze play full on disco in his arsenal.
This song, like the last year or so of SVD's productions, is not even anywhere near Trance. If you think it is, well, fuck.

LOL @ VIP...
naw its trance, but its not ur stereotypical fluff trance u might hear from others, thats what sets sander apart from others. his sound is a mix between tech house and trance so his mixes have that spin off to it.

the less people start to label "genres" as specifically one type of music...the less this confusion will occur.
SVD made a name for himself with harder "trancier" sets however alot of his productions are similar to King of my castle. By Any Demand is another example...sick tune.
