The reason is quite simple: I like cheesy music, but Discovery just kicks the oil out of my duodenum. The over-filtered vocals in "One More Time" and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" are downright annoying, and the overall structure of the tunes is just silly. Vocoders and synthpop have never been interesting, and bringing them together didn't make either of them sound any better. Not to mention Stellar 5555. Why, Jesus, why?

Thank God they released "Alive 1997" on that same year...
