How could one argue that electronic music is too underground to attract attention. I realize it's like comparing apples and oranges but fucking BBC's Radio One is the LARGEST circulating radio station in the world (territory wise) and they fucking pump serious electronic genres. Granted they play top 40, but they allot certain slots for d&b, U.K garage, progressive, trance, house, and so on.

The reality is that house/trance/electronic as a genre is still fairly underground. Ya sure there are releases like TranceMix 2000 or HouseNation (I just made those up), but they suck. The good stuff is still localized in clubs. Trance is ginormous in Europe but it does not get a fraction of the recognition in TO. Christ we have one club dedecated to it-ONE CLUB. But this may be a good thing. It still keeps the music sacrad. A radio station would not cheese it up, but allow us music lovers enjoy the good stuff 24/7.

I've had BPM tv for a while, mostly they play some really boring house, weird trance, rap (it's supposed to be electronic music station!!!) and eurocrap, plus they have some very untalanted people working for it, very unprofessional, BPM TV SUX! and they spend most of the time interviewing some dumbass DJ...

About the radio station, I just have this idea but unfortunately no connections in high places to bring my idea to life, and I have no idea how much it would cost, but I think with all of the TAs who support this can pull this off, so one morning we'll wake up hearing electronic music on the all new KISS92

Pity we can't listen to digitallyimported radio while driving...

I'm a little confused.. You both state that you think a new radio station would need to play many types of electronic music, but then you both say how great it is to listen to digitally imported whenever you can... Doesn't those two things contradict? As digitally imported only plays one kind of music. (Granted they have 4 or 5 different streams, of varying styles of music, but I only ever listen to the Trance Stream myself, and it never gets boring.)
