im sure i replied to this ages ago, but it doesnt seem to have worked...

download the digital 1200sl demo (made by visiosonic). i can email u the crack to save you the 300 odd pound it would cost u, and its darn easy to find with any search engine. it seriously is the best pc djing software there is. its basically technics d1200's but in software. also has amazing beat matching and it works with 1 or two soundcards. although if its an old soundcard, i recommend strongly that you get mewer drivers for it, coz its quite picky about drivers. also rips from anything that makes a noise! (cd tape turntable radio MD mp3player, whatever you can fit into linein on ur soundcard basically!) and its extremely quick at doing it aswell :-D

Mixin using cd sounds crap, cd's cut out a lot of the inaudiable shit that u cant hear that you get on vinyl (cd=44.1khz vinyl=something like 76khz) and that makes a difference to how it all sounds! so for this reason, in the above list dont get pioneer advanced cd players, get a real man's set of tools... 1210's evry time
