If they only go as far as this: keeping clubs closed between 8am-12pm, it's not that big of a deal IMO. The problem is, after all the shut downs last summer, and the current rhetoric coming from the Ibiza council, many are saying next summer will see many more shutdowns, this time permanent (DC10 and Bora Bora being prime candidates).
If Bora Bora and DC10 get shut down, that would pretty much take away any desire I have of going back to Ibiza. Besides a few moments at We Love Space, DC10 and Bora Bora were the only two places that I really enjoyed. [bold] In my opinion, Ibiza is just an overhyped, grossly overpriced island that wouldn't really be worth going to for me if those 2 places closed.[/bold] |
if thats what you think, you really missed Ibiza.

I agree with everything, but I will say there is a lot of other things Ibiza has going for it. The clubs are overhyped, over priced, but the rest of the island had a lot of stuff going for it.

yes and no. there is a vibe on the island that I haven't experienced anywhere (mind you, my clubbing has been limited to N.A, Western Europe and I'm sure there are places that have an amazing vibe...some that are even as good or better...but none of them are the same and for some of us...not near as magical (i mean that in the most non-hocusy-pocusy, earth nature shit way possible)
