Sander Kleinenberg is doing is sets with DVJ's, has custom visuals made for tracks. Adds something to the show I suppose.

All I can really say to that is HOLY SHIT!!!! lol just when you think these people couldnt possibly over achieve any further, they slap you in the face with this monster. It looks very expensive (then again all their gear is pricy as hell), but you do get what you pay for! In really big venues video is a big portion of the show. But usually it is not controlled by the dj @ all! They usually just have a dvd player hooked up to some huge projector. If you're a dj who can simultaneously do both, more power to you buddy!

It's not for everyone, but it's not a gimmick. Think outside the (edm) box.

Yes, I can't wait to see DJs putting even less effort into their mixing because they're too busy blending two shit pre-made visuals together and pretending to be that much more creative.

There are professional VJs out there who invest thousands of dollars in high-end visual mixing gear, and take their craft very seriously, who must be absolutely livid at the sight of this thing. DJ's should mix music, leave the visuals to the people who actually know what the hell they're doing...

Case in point, Tommy Lee is using/promoting this POS...

I don't get the hostility. This looks like a tight unit. I wouldn't be worried about it affecting the quality of a DJ's mixing, and even if it did, it's most likely gonna be out of the price range of most DJ's anyway.

I'd bet good money if it was A&H you would not be so opposed to a piece of gear like this.

Nah, my argument clearly doesn't have anything to do with that, and everything to do with what it is.

It detracts more than it adds imo.
