ATB's remix of airwave, sounds close to nothing like the original, and the very badly done breakdown @ abt 2min point...

I agree, why don't you all stop flaming these types of mixes, at least people are taking the time and the effort to do it...

A remix is the umm...remixer's interpretation of the song. Many time the remixer will just choose add their own elements to the original copy of the song, leaving with widely unmodified. Other times the remixer will see something totally different.

To each their own I suppose

no one was flaming anything, it was a legit question. we all tend to agree that it doesn't matter as long as its good.

Conductor and Cowboy - Feeling this Way (Solar Stone Remix)

excellent example of a bad tune gone great. I hate the original, but this one has been one of my favorites for months.

Tukan Is Cloth Eared.

Tukan are you seriously suggesting that the James Holden remix of 'Into The Dawn' uses differnt melodies? He quite obviously retains the main melody. Are you sure you're listening to the same track?

Yes, i was wondering this too after Tukan's reply. Holden's mix has the same melody, but the track goes a few steps deeper from the original..

well that's your opinion. i like the picotto remix. why should it be almost exactly the same with the original. maybe some notes here and there, i think with remixes is the artist vision of how this song should sound. how they would make it. picotto was a little different, but his work till now sounds a lot different then tiesto's. so that's it..
