suprisingly 4 strings were actually pretty good. he played for 2 hours extra too, so a 4 hour set. he was lovin it up there

first hour was kinda sucky like you said, just played cheese but after that he was really good. when he started playing songs that i didnt know he got heaps better finished off with some classics as well

i was pleasantly surprised as i wasnt expecting much

he wasn't even mixing
generally, just got 2 songs in beat and switch in 0.001 of a ms (pretty much like the tracks he was playing, quite a few had a decent synth and then just it'd just switch to either a hard bass line or some ridiculous random crap that's not even music suddenly and totally ruin it) - on one track in particular, i'm guessing he either hated it as much as i did, or because it was too hard to come up with a slightly more conventional and random bassline he didnt attempt to beat match and just quickly mixed in at a low down part with no beat

all in all, pretty horrendous.
8.5 poops out of 10.

his mixing wasnt the best but thats abit of an exaggeration. im sure if you had heard the rest of his set and stopped the chinstroking you mighta liked it abit more
