saw him back in april i believe it was and thought i was in for a treat considering he plays away from the norm in the trance genre..
was sadly mistaken..
would rather hear armin, tiesto, above & beyond anyday
think he's trying to be too unique and it isn't workin'

didn't sound very 'electro'y to me haha
shame though :/
Yeah thats what I thought. When I was tracklisting that set (before I knew the new name) I simply called it 'New Chakra mix' which is much more fitting than Electro mix, cos theres not any electro in it at all

thanks for sharing the videos.
before j00f got into dark psy
I like to define genres and stuff i know, but i don't think J00F is into dark psytrance, don't think he ever was. But sometimes i think he should try it out, it's the most powerful psy on the dancefloor

160bpm+ is the shit
+1
J00F's style is no where near dark psy at all.His style I'd say is more towards pro psy/morning psy.Either way I love his style no matter what.
p.s. I cant get enough of Vandringsleden,it is truly amazing.

what would you classify his current music as?
to me, it's a bit of epic melodies, hard beats, and dark elements and basslines. sometimes he would bring in some dark psy, other times, lighter side of psy. then there's the psy with epic trance elements in there.
I'd say he's on the borderline between progressive trance and fullon psytrance. It's a nice combination actually.
