Yeah, it felt a bit empty to me really, the only track I could remember on Different was Man From Solaris, probably because of the vocal (and it is designed to be catchy).
Probably it is because of the vocals as well, his first work were more instrumental and although the man knows what he does, I am more easily bored by this type of house I guess.

It's probably not as bad as I make it sounds, but it's just the old "high exceptations" trick. Had the same thing with Recloose: Cardiology was so brilliant (Buy. This. Album.) that Hiatus on the Horizon could simply not match it in my eyes. (And once again, too much low-key vocal house thingie)

Yeah, that track was massive - and when I saw that Dualizm included a collab between the two, that's when I decided I needed to make the purchase.

Thanks Grim and Laeke - I'm going to track down some of his earlier stuff I think, and maybe his other alias as well.

Was a bit of a task to find a site with samples of the Processory album (i'm too lazy to up them somewhere myself ) but here's one. Just hover the cursor over the note buttons to listen the samples.

http://download.mtv3.fi/Album.aspx?...25-0E9FD85C62D0

And this is surely more on the synthpop side instead of house or anything else "more EDM like" genres he's done before Processory. Not sure if the album in CD or LP form has been released in other countries besides Finland and France.

Thanks a ton! That's not at all like what I was expecting, but I like it. Sounds a lot like a less melancholy Depeche Mode.

Depeche Mode, New Order and Pet Shop Boys are bands to whom many reviewers of the album have found references to stylewise.
