WOW what a show! So many exotic breeds it was insane. Everything from poison dart frogs to six foot nile monitors. The selection was amazing. I couldn't believe how expensive some of these exotic snakes were.....I'm talking $7,000 for a snake! Anyways after walking around looking at every exhibit for almost two hours I finally found what I was looking for. I got a juvenile Nabire Green Tree Python....he is really tiny and in his yellow stage....they change colors as they get older. Now I just need to figure out a name for him/her. Wish I took my camera to show you guys everything that was there.....but here is a pic of mine. BTW just to give you an idea of how big he is.....that's a drinking straw he is curled around.

wow thats awesome about that reptile show. i am a huge reptile love and would have loved to be able to attend that show if i lived in nyc. i actually have a 3 foot iguana right now and just got a ball python 2 months ago so hes only about a foot and a half long right now cause hes only 3 months old.
that gree tree python looks awesome...from what ive read about them theyre definitely for the more experienced snake owner because of how aggressive they are.

yeah man ive had all sorts of reptiles growing up. used to have a four foot iguana when i was little. many corn and rat snakes......two ball pythons and a red tailed columbian boa. balls are very easy to care for once they get on a regular eating schedule and they dont get very big. green trees are not so much hard to care for but you must keep the humidity and day / night cycles to the t or they get stressed easily. they are pretty aggresive but if you get them young and handle them properly they can be great pets......but its def not a snake to wrap around your neck and walk around the house with lol...used to do that with my ball and red tail all the time. ill def be going to the show in ny so we should meet up or something. ive been thinking about starting to breed snakes.
