The sound quality on the samples was fine. In most of them, the difference was pretty obvious, there being some major discordance in one of them, or a note going several tones up instead of down.
The only thing that bugged me was that you could only listen once. That turns it into more of a memory exercise than a pitch test, with no tolerance for distraction. Plus, I've got people on the next floor drilling approximately 76 trillion holes, god only knows where, so once or twice I wasn't really too sure what I'd heard.
But it's perfectly reasonable to get 35 right; I swung 33 and like I said, there were a few distractions.
