I don't need to take a test to tell if I'm tone deaf....I have many many karaoke nights under my belt that prove I'm tone deaf.

The sound quality on the samples was fine. In most of them, the difference was pretty obvious, there being some major discordance in one of them, or a note going several tones up instead of down.
The only thing that bugged me was that you could only listen once. That turns it into more of a memory exercise than a pitch test, with no tolerance for distraction. Plus, I've got people on the next floor drilling approximately 76 trillion holes, god only knows where, so once or twice I wasn't really too sure what I'd heard.
But it's perfectly reasonable to get 35 right; I swung 33 and like I said, there were a few distractions.
