Yeah, if I was a noob, I'd be very very very confused with this thread... What it sounds like to me is you are simply editing, rearranging, etc., not really "remixing" or "producing", so I'd go with Abelton... But if you're serious about "producing" tracks from scratch, do it up with stuff like Reason or Logic... I use Reason and I'm very very very happy with it...
