Same here..

The problem is I moved to new flat and bought new speakers (dynaudios)..
I have m-audio bx8a at home and I never had any problems with them - never had faced any hum/noise problems..

Since dynaudios are supposed to be much better (and much more expensive) I'm almost certainly sure this has something to do with something else - electricity or something.

Ah well see that's the difference then. I've had mine for like 6 months and never noticed before until this thread brought it to my attention. I have to stick my ear right on the tweeter guard to hear it, and everything has to be quiet. Doesn't really seem like a problem for me. They are quality monitors so I doubt this will ruin them in any way.

In my case its just the fact I dont want monitors for 1100€ to play hum (even if its so quiet).
