oh god i was in pisa in september and the sheer amount of people at any given time taking pictures like that and giggling at their 'cleverness' was saddening


i ended up taking a series of photos of people taking photos of people who were trying to make clever poses with the tower

i have a shot of three people in a line all with their arms awkwardly outstretched as if they were supporting the tower, each posing for another camera

also took photos of these people from the opposite direction so that it looked like they were supporting a building or person they weren't trying to look like they were supporting

i think i would probably be one of those idiots
