my point is the main forum name only says "New York"
could it get changed to "NYC/DC" at least? i mean that'll generate traffic. what if people scroll down on the main page and don't see anything about balto or DC and move on? not everyone's a genius like "ohh nyc is pretty close to DC i'll click on that!"
Anyway I'm in baltimore and i'm sick of the scene here. it's all deep house and the only time i get to hear or DJ my proggy/techy stuff is at this late night club once a month. i've been to Five a couple of times and had a great time.
i've been looking to get into the DC scene and start hanging out with some of you kids. the drive to NYC is too long (especially with these gas prices) to make every weekend. guess i'll be planning to come out there. anything good going on next couple of weeks? basically where does everyone go... Fur?

I agree with you. It should some how indicate that DC/Boston/RI/Philly is also included in this forum.

i don't really care
nyc is cooler than this dump anyways
the topic has been discussed many times, and it aint happenin
besides, currently existing dc forms are lame
want proof, check out groovanauts and the buzzboard
they are too busy bein wrapped up in their own little cliques to broaden their horizons
there would be like 4 active posters, and the rest would just be a wasteland of Glow promotional spam

actually I PMed Ian a few weeks ago about something and got a response within hours. Just cause he doesn't post all the time doesn't mean he has stopped doing his job.

Why not just have events threads for DC, Philly, and Boston stickied in this forum? I don't think a whole forum is neccesary but it would be nice to be able to just go to the city's event that you are looking for.

I'm pretty shocked
I was sure he hadn't given a thought to this board in years

again a good idea but until someone says something to Redeye or Swamper it is all talk and its up to the people from other places to take the first step to get this to happen and it takes more then starting a thread about it.
