Pshhh 100 hours of overtime a MONTH! that's about 23 hrs of overtime a week. Which means about 63 hours of work per week.
That's friggin standard here in North America, at most medium-sized consulting companies. It sure is a standard where I work. 50+ hours is given as a reference point during an interview, and quite often it's more.
As an example, the most recent project I worked on:
* 2-3 months prior to go-live, the team on averaged worked about 60 hours a week, every week.
* during go-live, and post go-live (for about 1-2 months) team worked at about 80 hours a week (for regular team members)
* peaking during that time, for myself, and 2 other guys, at 96, 97, and 103! hours a week (for 2 weeks in a row)
