If you don't actually know the facts, then don't say anything, because you're just misleading people.

1200 Mk2, 1200 M3D, 1210 Mk2 and 1210 M3D all have exactly the same motor, and hence have exactly the same torque. If you have used different pairs of these and they appeared to have different levels of torque, then it is for some other reason, for example there were different slipmats on them.

Also, none of these turntables come with blue LED's. If you have used a pair of these with blue LED's, then it is because te owner has modified them, probably using the Vinyl Touch blue LED mod.

All of these turntables are available in both black and silver. The difference is that the 1210 has a voltage switch (110/230 V) and the 1200 does not. If you buy a 1200 in the US/Canada, then the power supply will be made for 110 V and you cannot use it in Europe without a step-down transformer. If you bought your 1200 in Europe then the power supply will be made for 230 V and you can't use it in the US/Canada without a step-up transformer.

These are the facts. Remember them.

bro i say from what i experianced and dont tell me that im full of shit ..... i know many djs that are top djs and have been djing for over 10 years who mentioned the same that for some reason the original 1200s mk2s have a slight more torque ...then the m3ds.... so its not just me ...they might have the same motor but for my experiance i have noticed that the mk2s have more torque.... i dont care what you think the facts are and what the facts ...cuz from the mk2s i experianced and played on they had tad more torque...whether it ws just the ones i used but and it could be that ever table is different and doesnt really matter on the model #...... but they do have different torque from my experiance ...and its not like im some idiot that couldnt tell the difference...but im not saying they dont have the same motor or anything but from my experiance they had more torque whether is just that table or mayb ever turntable is different....i know many m3ds that feel and smoothness were different from other m3ds... so mayb its just the tables i used... but dont tell me i dont know shit cuz i played on enough and experianced enough in djing to tell when a table has more torque then another ..

once again, DJTJ layin down the facts.

tranceclubber, sorry man but, i am losing respect for you by the second. you can't even form proper sentences!

regardless of what you've played on, or what you subjectively felt, there is no difference between any of those tables.

they are all the same. period.

OK, I'll admit that perhaps a certain motor in a certain table may be slightly more worn out/older than another motor in another table, and hence have slightly more torque. However, when new, both of these motors would have had exactly the same torque, because thay are exactly the same motor. Because of course, Technics use exactly the same motor for the Mk2 as in the M3D.

Mikey Mike - Torque is kind if the "turning power" of the turntable.

also technics are all hand build from what i been told so not all of them are the same .....also found out m3d has a digital pitch adjust ..from the mk2 its analog pitch ...thats why its stiffer on the mk2s and witht he m3ds the pitch sets much better then the mk2s with i noticed is that you have to adjust the pitch much more through out the mix with the mk2s......... ... and i went and played on someone elses 1210s and they had way more torque then the m3ds ...and i asked him and he bought them cuz he mixes jungle and scratchs.... mayb there is something else rather then the motor that effects the over al torque on each model.... cuz its obviously more torque more so then the 1200s of boths series .. .... i might just email technics or call them and see if why some have more torque then others if the motor is the same...

no hard feelings m8. i guess "lost respect" was a bit of a strong term. i just don't like it when people spread false information, especially in light of the fact that someone obviously knowlegable in the facts was here dishing it out. i call em as i see em i guess.

you can call me john, i like it like that.

cheers dude, peace.

and, i do encourage you to check with technics, make sure you post back here when you find out from them.
