Compared to last year, I didn't find much content that drew me in in 2007, but here are a few that most certainly did:

John Digweed- Transitions, volume 2
Nick Warren- Global Underground 30: Paris
Global Underground- Afterhours: Ibiza
Hernan Cattaneo- Sequential, volume 2

I think Freaked Frequency-FF Syndrome is my favorite album of the year, It's so melodic and so well produced that it's unreal. The awesome part is that it gets better and better every time I listen to it. One of the very few albums where I love every single track.

It's a continuous mix of tracks from Solarism, exclusive and different versions/mixes of tracks from Solarism and mash-ups between tracks from Solarism and old Planisphere tracks (a selection of these appeared unmixed on "Solarized"). That's what "hybrid" refers to, it's all mixed and mashed for your listening pleasure.

ahhh hybrid was being used as an informal term, and I mistook it for a formal name, none the less I found a nice discog torrent of hybrid the group and am loving it, it's so hard to follow all the rabbit holes of trance, people who remix tracks really good, and then go find their stuff ect.

Make sure you listen to Hybrid's album "I Choose Noise" from last year.

Yeah it was in the torrent, may be you should do the best of last year too.

I'm listening to Joris Voorn's From A Deep Place right now. The album is absolutely amazing, I haven't thought I'll hear something so good this year. Tracks like The Deep, Early Bird, Lucid Dreams and Dirty Thoughts are simply breathtaking.

Best album of the year right after the first listen. Aril Brikha's album sounds so cheap right now...

actually. except for the latest Planisphere album all the earlier Planisphere stuff were produced by Laurent Véronnez and George Petkidis.
