Spent the last hour or so listening to this one while typing up some finals notes, and it's probably the set of yours I think is the most ambitious in what it tries to do.
I think it would probably work better in club than it did for me at home, but I still really enjoyed it, just as Clovis mentioned - it gets a bit cluttered on occasion when you're very much "in the mix."
Still, as you mention - it's never for altogether too long, and in a lot of cases I'd much, much rather hear a DJ take a chance than mix "safe."
I think as long as you walk away with the idea that "Just because I can do something, doesn't mean I should" - you're golden.
One of the highest talents I think a DJ can have is being able to find the proper balance between the neat technical stuff and playing a cohesive set with a real sense of flow. You're very, very close to finding that balance.
