The only place I've seen M&S where I didn't want to tear my ears off was at the zone.....they appeal to the commercial crowd that is Toronto.....Vinyl Junkies are definately my number 2.....MO will always be number 1 in my books....simply because of his diveristy and ability to read a crowd.

in my opinion,

manzone & strong are best at reading crowds and knowing what the crowds want to hear. they dont play to the commercial crowd, as you alledge. they consistantly play tracks that no one else has- i'd say thats pretty much the opposite of 'commercial'.

as for raw technical talent- have you seen the youtube vid of fab strong working the cdj live? he works that machine to its fullest potential.

i'm not here to slam anyone, but i will give creds when theyre due.

manzone & strong throw down a consistantly rocking party - every week, every year... and its great that TNC recognizes this.

just because your choices didnt win doesnt mean that the awards arent legit. there was a nomination period at torontonightclubawards.com for people to nominate their favourites. the top 4 nominees made the list and the one that had the most votes/nominations won for that particular category. the awards have been happening annually for the past few years so maybe you could try participating next year and not just complain about something that you know absolutely nothing about.

also, tnc presence is only known in the richmond/adelaide/king street area so it is more of a commercial club crowd.

im happy Guvy won twice.....
every time i hered Manzone and Strong this year TiL/Drink/or Skybar they killed it.....especially if there opening for Lawler.....
i personally like 100.7>105.1.....
i also like MC Extreme>MC Slik.....he usually talks for 20mins bout wrestling and the Leafs.....
