Fiery first half, and a great finish by Baptista, even though it was against the run of play. You can see how much Barca miss Messi, but maybe the subs they bring on in the second half will have more of an impact (e.g. Henry, Giovani, or Bojan).

ok game

the experiment of puyol at right back should end for barca, he's just missed from the centre. you wonder what message henry is getting when he's behind someone like Bojan who will be a star but hasn't the experience yet. Eto'o looked disinterested and they even made Pepe look good, some feat.

Nice Goal from The Beast. No creativity from Barca though, and Real were VERY industrious in midfield and in defence. Bojan came on because of the kind of creative play he can generate in the attacking third of the pitch, compared to Henry's out-and-out style as a striker, and it proved to work because he forced a good save from Casillas late on. Seeing Puyol on those runs down the right wing was just strange, and he should have been in the centre so Zambrotta could have done that instead. Overall, it was the physical play that made the game good, but Mejuto was letting so many things go uncalled, it was frustrating for me as a neutral spectator because Barca couldn't catch a break to get back into it.

I understand Bojan, i've seen his potential, his ability already & I know he'll be huge but Henry has played in big games before, and he's more than just an out & out striker if you saw him at Arsenal or even when he played wide at Monaco & Juve, you'd know that

I really think barca don't need deco now. I'd have Marquez holding in midfield with Iniesta & Xavi creating. He hasn't pulled his weight for a long time.
