I just started this one this morning, and I'm sure it's one that nobody here has read. Anyway, it got very good reviews - the African "Brave New World" by one account.

It's even on-line (click the cover), and I don't think anyone else around here has read it already

To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

I'm currently reading "Winning is not enough" by Jackie Stewart (his autobiography) but I'm gonna say that 99% of people would not be interested in that one.

I do have "Kennedy's Brain" by Henning Mankell sitting on my bench for next up, I have no idea what its like or what its about, it was given to me for Christmas by my aunt and she says she likes that writer a lot and its meant to be pretty good

we could spend ages picking or arguing books. its a good idea, and it was yours. so pick any book you like and then you can select who chooses next, and so on. you know, if people actually bother finishing one book that doesn't have a cor version.

as with anything, appealing to the lowest common denominator is sure to get ratings

Another suggestion, this one much shorter (roughly 140 pages):

The author was only 21, and as far as I know the book was the product of his senior Creative Writing project while at Harvard. His advisor was Jamaica Kincaid, and it was listed as one of Salman Rushdie's favorite books. The book itself is a narrative from the perspective of a child soldier, so it ought to foster some strong reactions.
