Don't go breaking my heart...again! Saw a pretty cheap sunday return trip frm Ft Lauderdale to Newark on Jetblue($174), and our continental flight down was just $72 to miami...now get it done! ;o)
AlterImage will be there. Arriving Tuesday going to at least Saturday staying at the Riande Continental 17th and Collins.

Alfonso has a friend who will prob drive us. If not, it's like an $80 cab, but it seems that direct flights from Miami on Sun night are a LOT more than the combined cost of cab + flight. Plus, you can usually car pool it with someone else to keep the cost down.

All you have to do is get a shared cab to and from Ft. Lauderdale. Its $20 a person no matter what each way. You pick it up outside the airport and then you call them the day before you leave to schedule a pick up. They scoop you up in a big van and then drop you at the airport. It works out great. No need to get you own cab and spend $80.

I do this frmo the Airport to the beach, but didn't know it could work the other way too...thanks for the tip!
