128 isn't ok for promo mixes?

I listen to sets that are recorded at 128 and they sound ok.

You should be able to record on a Creative Zen V Plus at 160 and those cost roughly $99 - $120. If your serious about making a promo mix, it should be good quality, so your best bet then is to probably plug your mixer into your line in of your computer or sound card and record from there. You will need your computer anyways to clean up your mix, upload it and burn it to CD. Use Audacity to record.
