The answer is that it depends on the person. If you've been diagnosed with any cardiovascular problem, then don't do it. That's just common sense. If you can do hard exercise (say, running a quarter mile a few times at top speed with a minute of rest between each time) without any chest pain or faintness, then it's pretty damn doubtful that weed will kill you. But I guess there's always that microscopic chance.
From the moment you leave your house in the morning, your chances of dying increase. Everything involves some degree of risk. |
Upon diving into my psych book, drugs that speed up the heart do not give the heart what it needs to run at that speed. When you exercise...your heart gets everything it needs...to put it simply.
If drugs speeding up your heart was a good idea, then crack addicts, coke addicts, meth heads, etc. would be world class athletes. Instead they find themselves clutching their chests in pain in the ER room.
But are the same risks present with THC that speeds up the heart? That is really the question....and I'd like to see if the same effects were present if you used a vaporizer.
I'd really like someone to prove that THC isnt bad on your heart...because I love it.
