Not to bump this thread or anything but I thought the tox. reports were interesting...

That's nuts. Why 2 of each? What must have he been going through to take all of that. One pain killer and one sleeping aid pill woulda knocked him out, maybe he was just trying to do exactly what he did.

He didn't take them all at once. That is just what was in his system when he died.

I know I read the article. What I asked is why would he actually have 2 of each? To alternate between them? Maybe he didn't know what he was getting. And like the article said, it probably wasn't just one doctor that prescribed ALL of those meds to him.

Most likely it was as simple as forgetting pills when travelling and filling a prescription while on the road somewhere.
