Just throwing out a different perspective but this may have been produced in the time he made Faxing Berlin, Not Exactly, etc etc...
Keep in mind it take music months to get released sometimes. Some marketing strategies (in effort to maximize exposure) require that certain tunes are released a bit apart from each other. I'm sure this would not have registered a blip on the radar if it were released when Faxing Berlin was dominating.
I like it quite a bit as well. Sure, it sounds somewhat samey - but I like the sound quite a bit, and of the "Faxing Berlin"/"Not Exactly"/"I Remember" trio this is probably the one I like the most.

The thing about it is that hes trying 2 bring a new style tho just like he did with Just be and it worked. they songs areunt TOO HIGHT up. but the vocals acaully are the best thing in 2007. The Track Carpe Noctum is like traffic but it hink he could of prefected the shit ouf it. but generalllyy its an amazing album...oh and Ten Seconds Before Sunrise is like Forever today TIMES 12

Community Nap and Creep aren't half bad.
Peddler of Misery is an extremely piss poor take on the minimal craze.
I thought Peddler of Misery was the best track out of the bunch just because its something new and im into the more dancable tracks that get you moving, oh and it sounds alot more technoish then minimal to me.

I'm going to have to agree - Peddler of Misery is one of the worst misfires I've heard from a producer since "Ribcage" and "Emissions."
As such, I'm sure everyone and there brother will be playing it once it's released.

Both tracks definetly have to be heard in a club environment to be fully appreciated.... I didnt like Ribcage as much until i heard it in a club and it sounded amazing.

Heard that and Cage on the Terrace in Ibiza, and at DC10 this Summer and both places went bonkers... hearing it in a club makes a huge difference.
On topic... that track Creep is nice, and seems to go in a very different direction than most of his recent tracks.
