Thanks man the hard drive is working well as was expected, the performance is not far off from my RAPTOR150

tests show that the 750 RE2 is even better, but i didnt need that much storage.

edit: and i may swing by 2 weeks from now for a ATi 3870 (i'm gonna run a crossfire setup)

and dan, nothing against Nvidia products, they make some great stuff, but what sold me on the ATI Cards (crossfire setup vs. SLi Setup) was that in blind tests where users were not aware of the specifications of the machines the ATI 3870 in crossfire was prefered over the 8800GT in SLi.

furthermore, with my board, and 790 FX chipset, i can go crossfireX, 8Gb of RAM, Quad core AMD (1st quarter 2009 before AM3 is released, when clock speed is much faster) for so much less $$$ than the equivalent SLi rig.

SLI and Crossfire is stupid and costs too much money for too little gain.

Just buy a nice fast single card.

I'm rockin a single X1900XT, probably won't get anything new anytime soon. However, the 1MB L2 cache in my E2160 now running at 3.4GHz (up from 1.8 stock) is really killing me in Viz rendering times... Gonna pick up a quad-core Penryn. Likely a Q9450.

PS: Anybody want a new in box Q6700 (G0 stepping, SLACQ specID)?
