Actually, I'm not fully on board with all of Ron Paul's agenda. I am a registered Libertarian, but I don't support all of their causes either....but is anyone really ever just a shill for their party?

But still, I will say this; I'd rather have Libertarians in office on state and local levels at the very least, more than any other party.

But correct me if I'm wrong; Trancer, didn't you post some Ron Paul quotes somewhere in here that supported conspiracy theories of some sort? Because if you did, I'd like to try and confirm them, for one thing...and then dis-associate myself from them for another, lol.

mate, the guy is basically a creationist, denying the "proven" status of evolution for crying out loud. i cant respect politicians that make bad errors of judgement about things i consider inherently important.

the way the guy is paranoid about inflation like its the worst possible problem you can have with an economy really shits me. "inflation = theft" they cry, yet ignore those whose incomes move at or above CPI. there will always be winners and losers with different models and structures of an economy. no matter what system is utilised.

and if you and trancer agree on a candidate, well that's is truly remarkable!

his past times are no more likely to change the world than mine are, which is the funniest part. right now i have the absolute freedom tp associate with whom i wish, see all the movies i choose to, read any book im interested in, get away with doing anything in my own house as long as im careful about it, travel where i wish, think what i want, express what i think and want, have had access to one of the strongest (formal) educations in the world, am free to own and use property, indulge in whatever music i choose to.

now, if none of ^^ that is a component of free choice and expression, then im not sure i give two shits about what "real" freedom is.

"Real" freedom is a beautiful thing that starts with the individual and branches out into the collective.
