Mars and mystre used to be on of my fav locals back when i started getting into eletronica. I had couple of there mix tapes.

I recall going out to THE PALACE (now known as Avalon)one night with some friends (like 10 or 11 yrs ago) for some dancing & drinking. I had no idea who was playing but I still went out cuz we wanted to have a good time. I remember looking up at the DJ booth, which was way up above to the left side of the dance floor and asked some people, "who is that DJ?" They replied "oh that's Mars!" I don't remember if Mystre was there but I do remember we danced & danced like it was our last night of dancing.
Now that I recall... it's was one of the guy's last night of dancing for awhile! He had to turn himself in the next day and do a little time in LA County jail. We wanted to make sure that he'd remember what a night of fun we had!

I am not sure how many times i have seen these guys play together. They were regulars on the rave circuit when i started going. I rember them and Donald Glaude headlining EDC like 6-7 years ago. I also saw them play at Qtopia (Vanguard) a while back.

wonder if they are still working their trademark cybertrance style into their sets??

I would def be going if i didnt already have plans to be down the street and the henry fonda

Looks like I'm not able to go. I just found out that I'm going to the Grammys and the afterparty on Sunday so I gotta take it easy on Saturday....Yes, I could party two nights in a row but I'm a senior citizen
