I've tried panning and fattening or stereoing some of the hats... Often it sounds okay.. My main problem is to get it to sound 'proper'. As in, it will sound cool or interesting as a 'sound' but it won't sound like a 'song' or an element of 'music'. But I'm trying some of the things suggested here and esp. I think if you try to copy fillers you like it helps you understand why one filler sounds like a bunch of cool noise and the other sounds like something you can integrate into a track... Thanks again
